Ready to Read
2. When I
think of a professional writer I get this idea in my head of a person who
absolutely loves writing, unlike myself. It’s one of those people who love
reading books, and writing papers. They are very studious and very much enjoy
their English class. They take time writing papers, and rewrite them until they
are perfect. They conduct lots of research and make outlines for their paper by
find key information. No I know from my experience writing is not easy and
takes lot of hard work.
Applying and Exploring Ideas
1. Almost
every time I write a paper I use imitation because I feel it’s easy to outline
someone else paper. It is easier for me to read someone else’s paper and frame
an outline to help me write. Sitting down and writing a paper it’s hard to
think of creative ideas so it helps to look at other works. The only
circumstance I feel this would be unreasonable is if you are plagiarizing. If you’re
actually coping their work then you aren’t even writing an original paper.
Questions for Discussing and
Journaling
3. I have
colluded in the past many times, like the reading; I also have my mom edit my
papers. Not any of my high school reports, but when I was in grade school she
would help and check my work for me. I really don’t believe that collusion
could even be considered plagiarism because it’s just like getting a second opinion
on your writings. It could be considered plagiarism if someone else colluded
your entire paper and you rewrote it because of everything they edited. At that
point it would essentially be considered someone else’s work.
Meta-moment
I have never
been negatively inspired by a writer; if I do not like there idea I usually
just take it for what it is or disregard it. I always stand by my idea because
i stand by my ideas and support them. Typically looking at other writings helps
me form my idea better even if my idea doesn’t exactly click with theirs. I
believe no idea is a bad idea. I really enjoyed reading Allen’s article; all
the articles from this book have honestly helped me improve my writings.
