Question and disscussion
1.       Kantz contends that facts, opinions, and arguments aren’t really what we were taught in our past. Kantz contends that facts and opinions are claims although arguments consist of claims proved with data.

2.       The list of things Kantz says students do not know about text work is “who are you”, “what is the question or problem with this topic”, and “how have I used thiese materials to answer your question or solve your problem”, and mostly “how”, “why”, and “so what”. Yes I believe that when I write essays, I have many of these questions, and sometimes, they go unanswered. I feel I could better research these questions and find the answers to them now.

Apply and Exploring Ideas

2.  In the past, I have always taken creativity into research through the fact that whilst doing research, I would turn things like regular readings into note cards and model them into such a way that when reading them afterwards it was not only very organized, but efficient, and Kantz has the idea that creativity is the most important factor in building an original argument as well as well as having a divergent interpretation, creativity can help answer the rest of the question the research cannot fulfill. I feel myself and Kantz have very similar lines of thought and that works out well for me.

Meta Moment

                1. Kantz’ constructs and conceptions were to put through the idea that creativity helps your mind essentially work out in a way not previously used to, such to say that it is not just memorizing, but creating a work in your mind that it will actually hold onto. This technique is a valued asset, especially in the mode of writing papers. It is useful for me to use these findings and claims simply through the fact that it allows your mind to be more open to the possibilities of learning as well as moving forward into the literary world and increasing your inherent ability to write papers.
